Acton, MA - CogniToy(TM) is now accepting MindRover intelligent bots to compete in the Gold Rush contest, which will begin next Wed, Feb 23. The winning vehicle will be added to the Gold Rush download pack for others to compete against. The winner will also get both a GoneGold and a MindRover t-shirt.
You need the full MindRover game to create your competitor. MindRover gives you the tools to program mini-robotic vehicles and compete in a variety of challenges races, sports and battles. Gold Rush is a free add-on challenge that will work with the full version of the game. The object of Gold Rush is to collect as many jewels as possible while making sure the other guy doesn't steal yours.
The full game, MindRover, can be purchased at CogniToys website (from the Store link). The Gold Rush scenario can be downloaded from the site as well: www.mindrover.com.
In addition, the MindRover website hosts discussion forums, news, downloads and links to fan sites. There is also a free demo available to try out the game before buying it.
