This Add-on pack gives you 18 new components that simulate physical and logical components that can work with the LEGO RCX system. We have also included two model RCX robot chassis that you use within MindRover. They are modeled after the physical vehicles described below.

Finally, a new scenario is in this add-on pack, "Robot Fun!". This scenario limits construction to include only the components that will work with the RCX. If you build and simulate RCX robots in this scenario you can then download your robot files to the RCX.

New components include:

	RCXDisplay	Display a number on the RCX LCD screen
	RCXDualEngine	Dual engine component, used with a two wheel robot.
	RCXEngine	Single engine component that acts like an RCX motor
	RCXLightSensor	RCX Light sensor component
	RCXSpeaker	Allows you to play the 6 basic sounds of the RCX
	RCXTouchSensor	RCX touch sensor component
	RCXSteering	Steering component for use with a 4 wheeled robot where one motor is used to turn the front wheels (see the model below)
	RobotAdd	Adds two integer inputs
	RobotIf	Compares two inputs and returns 'greater than', 'less than', or 'equal to'
	RobotDivide	Divides two integer inputs; results in 'quotient' and 'remainder'
	RobotLoopTimer	Timer component that starts again when it has finished counting down
	RobotMultiply	Multiplies two integer inputs
	RobotRandom	Generates a random number
	RobotRange	Checks to see if a number is within a range
	RobotSequencer	Sequences through 8 steps. You can set the time interval between steps
	RobotSubtract	Subtracts two integers
	RobotTimer	Countdown timer; starts counting when you set it
	RobotVariable	Stores a number

Requirements:

You must have MindRover: The Europa Project installed and running before you can install the add-on pack for RCX. This requires Win9x/2k/NT with a 3D graphics accelerator card. More details can be found in the MindRover link.

If you wish to download your files from the MindRover programming/simulation environment to the physical device, then you must have the LEGO MindStorms Robotics Invention Kit. We recommend that you upgrade the firmware to v2.0 (links are included in the documentation).
